Peninsula Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of Michigan

Expert in Breast Cancer Reconstruction and Advanced Reconstructive Surgery

Dr. Rebecca Studinger is a highly skilled, board-certified plastic surgeon specializing in both cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, with a particular focus on breast cancer reconstruction.

With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Studinger is passionate about helping patients recover both physically and emotionally through reconstructive surgery, especially breast cancer survivors.

While Dr. Studinger offers a wide range of cosmetic surgeries, including breast augmentation, facelifts, and body contouring, a large portion of her practice is focused on medical procedures, with the majority dedicated to breast cancer reconstruction. She provides comprehensive options for breast reconstruction, including implant-based procedures, DIEP flaps, fat grafting, and advanced microsurgical techniques like TUG and perforator flaps.

Dr. Studinger is deeply committed to restoring confidence and wholeness for her patients through personalized care and expert surgical approaches. She trained under Dr. Robert Allen, a pioneer in perforator flap breast reconstruction, and has additional specialized training in lymphatic reconstruction from Dr. Corrine Becker in France. This unique expertise allows her to offer cutting-edge solutions for patients requiring advanced breast reconstruction and lymphedema treatment after cancer surgery.
